Application Guidelines and Instructions

What it is

Yaddo offers residencies to individual professional creative artists from all nations working in visual art, literature, music composition, performance, or film and video. The application process uses peer review with different admissions committees each season. Applicants must be the primary creative source of their work. The organization does not require publications, exhibitions, or performances from residents. Modest access grants are available to offset travel costs for selected artists.

Who it is for

Professional and emerging artists working in choreography, film, literature, musical composition, painting, performance, photography, printmaking, sculpture, or video who are not currently enrolled in a full-time academic program.

Eligibility unconfirmed. Check the residency and nationality rules on the source before applying.
