České Budějovice ECoC 2028 and Ars Electronica invite artists, designers, and collectives to apply for a fully funded residency involving direct collaboration with scientists at the Biology Centre of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Selected artists will develop a spatial ArtXScience artwork and public engagement formats addressing environmental challenges such as climate, sustainable agriculture, and water management. The final work will be presented at the Ars Biologica Festival in spring 2028, with funding covering a €6,000 artist fee, up to €15,000 production budget, and up to €3,000 for travel and accommodation.
