What it is

A six-month immersive fellowship in New York City for a diverse cohort of artists, scholars, and arts professionals from Asia to engage with U.S. cultural life, broaden perspectives, build connections with peers across disciplines, and reflect on their artistic practice without pressure to produce or present work.

Who it is for

Artists, scholars, and arts professionals from Asia who are citizens or legal permanent residents of an eligible country or region.

Open to artists in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China and others.

What you get

A six-month fellowship in New York City with housing (subject to availability at International House), travel expenses, accommodation, daily expenses, museum and event tickets, and support to engage with U.S. cultural institutions and a cohort of peers from across Asia.

What you need to apply

• Proof of citizenship or legal permanent resident status of an ACC-eligible country, territory, or region
• Letters of recommendation
• Description of proposed fellowship activities and objectives
• Statement demonstrating alignment with ACC mission and how the fellowship will broaden horizons and support creative growth
• Curriculum vitae or resume demonstrating at least five years of professional experience in an eligible discipline
