What it is

Residency for Indigenous screenwriters to work on adapting novels, short stories, or plays into television series, feature films, or episodic work for web platforms, exploring themes of futurism. Program includes online preparatory week, on-campus workshops, one-on-one consultations, peer collaboration, and a public open house showcase on February 24, 2027.

Who it is for

Indigenous screenwriters at various stages of their careers who have written at least one script previously or have an educational background in film and/or screenwriting, and are 18 or older.

Four-week hybrid residency (one week online, three weeks on campus) with accommodation in a single bedroom, meal plan equivalent to $68 credit per day, 24/7 access to personal studio space, faculty-led workshops, one-on-one feedback sessions, and a 100% scholarship covering all tuition, accommodation and meal costs for Indigenous applicants.
