What it is

The Millard Meiss Publication Fund supports the publication of books on all periods and areas of art history and visual studies. Applications are judged on the quality of the scholarly manuscript and the financial need for publication support. High scholarly and intellectual merit is the primary criterion. The fund particularly considers funding for expenses enhancing the visual component with color plates or expanded illustration programs, and expenses for exceptional design requirements such as maps, line drawings, charts, and tables.

Who it is for

Publishers who are institutional members of the College Art Association seeking to publish scholarly books on art history and visual studies.
