What it is

The Wyeth Foundation for American Art Publication Grant supports the publication of books on the art of the United States, Canada, and Mexico. High scholarly and intellectual merit is the primary criterion. The foundation considers museum exhibition and collection catalogs containing substantial scholarship, topics with small markets, projects with unusually high expenses, works by early-career scholars or curators, publications by smaller museums, works by or about underserved constituencies, and research that breaks new ground or publishes important primary source material. Technical reports, articles, previously published works, conference proceedings, and self-published manuscripts are not eligible.

Who it is for

Publishers who are institutional members of CAA submitting book-length scholarly manuscripts about the art of the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
