What it is

This program supports Ontario-based Indigenous artists to create artwork or facilitate workshops by providing grants to cover the cost of buying art materials and supplies. Applications are submitted through Indigenous organization recommenders who assess applications and submit recommendations to the Ontario Arts Council. Each recommender may set its own deadlines or assess applications on an ongoing basis until budget is spent.

Who it is for

First Nations, Inuit or Métis artists and culture carriers who are Ontario residents working in visual arts, crafts or traditional Indigenous art forms.
