Funding for publishing houses to support publication of books in French or regional languages of France. Eligible projects must be original literary, scientific or artistic works; previously unpublished by the Centre national du livre; not published before examination; and in supported literary domains (excluding novels, short stories, contemporary narratives for adults, textbooks, technical works, contemporary visual arts, role-playing games, journalistic interviews, catalogues, dictionaries without critical dimension, testimonies, apologetic publications, esoteric works, and self-help). Books must contain at least 50% text except in comics and children's literature. Minimum print run of 500 copies (300 for poetry and theatre). Translations must be from original language with appropriate contracts. Applicants may submit maximum three applications per session.
Publishing houses with headquarters in an EU member state and an establishment or branch in France, whose main activity is publishing books in French or one of the languages of France.
