What it is

EFFEA is an initiative of the European Festivals Association supporting around 50 residencies bringing together at least 150 festivals from across Europe and beyond. An EFFEA Residency brings together one leading festival and at least two partner festivals from three eligible countries around an emerging artist or artistic group.

Who it is for

Emerging artists or artistic groups working across various disciplines, supported by festivals to create cross-border residency opportunities.

Open to artists in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands and others.
