What it is

This prize invites early-career composers based in North-West England to write a new work for the RLPO's Ensemble 10:10. Winners have the opportunity to have their composition performed by the ensemble. The award is aimed at composers in the early stages of their careers.

Who it is for

Early-career composers aged 18 or over who currently live, work or were born in the North West (Merseyside, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cumbria) or are registered students at a North West higher education institution, with the right to work in the UK.
