Q-O2 Residency 2027

What it is

Q-O2 offers residencies for research-oriented artistic work in experimental music and sound art. In 2027, 20 residencies will be hosted (10 for international artists, 10 for Belgian residents). Residencies are typically 4-6 weeks long. Artists are expected to produce traces of their work (in word, image, and/or audio form) and may present to an audience or propose a workshop if desired.

Who it is for

Artists, art workers, and theorists working with, on, or around sound who wish to undertake research-oriented projects; both international artists and those living in Belgium are eligible.

Open to artists anywhere.

What you get

A work studio, technical equipment, accommodation in a shared apartment (for international residents), a travel contribution of max €200 (for international residents), a subsistence budget for artists without other funding, and 4-6 weeks of residency time.
