What it is

The New Stories Project is a unit of Playwrights Workshop Montreal that offers accessible creation workshops and customized development labs to neurodivergent theatre artists. The project, launched in 2018, has supported 25+ neurodivergent creators and performers with professional expertise in building new theatre pieces. It fosters intergenerational exchange and creates a platform for marginalized communities. Participants are invited to tour and present excerpts from works in development at community centers and schools serving neurodivergent populations.
