LSO Jerwood Composer+ supports early-career composers in planning and delivering two artistic projects. Composers gain valuable knowledge and practical experience to develop entrepreneurial skills around programming for specific audiences, planning, marketing, budgeting, fundraising and evaluation. Two composers are recruited each year to the 15-month placement.
Early-career composers from all musical backgrounds, particularly those from historically under-represented groups including ethnically diverse, women, non-binary, disabled composers and those from outside the classical tradition.
