Uitwisselingsprogramma Kooperativa x Kunstenpunt: wissel kennis uit met de Zuidoost-Europese kunstensector

What it is

An exchange programme organised by Kunstenpunt and Kooperativa enabling Flemish artists and cultural professionals to spend 3–5 days with grassroots, artist-led or socially and politically engaged organisations in Southeast Europe (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia) to learn from their practices and build networks. Participants must report on their experiences and share findings with the Flemish cultural sector.

Flemish artists and cultural professionals working in visual arts, performing arts, music and sound.

Open to artists in Belgium.

What you get

Travel costs, accommodation, per diems, and a maximum €300 contribution to the host organisation; 3 to 5 days of shadowing and networking at a cultural organisation in Southeast Europe between 1 October 2026 and 30 June 2027.

• Letter to ward@kunsten.be indicating interest and brief project sketch (Step 1)
• Host organisation's letter of intent
• Visit schedule and planning
• Motivation statement addressing the theme of art and democracy
• Description of how you will report on your experience (written report, video, lecture, audio recording, or other format)
