Fifth edition of Medialab Matadero's annual Situated Research Residency programme, inviting three research and creation projects exploring relationships between contemporary art, design, science, technology, and society through a critical, experimental approach. Projects must connect explicitly with one or more of Medialab's recent programme themes: LAB 1 Medios Sintientes, LAB 2 The Metabolic Sublime, LAB 3 Synthetic Minds, LAB 4 Weird Futures, and LAB 5 The Mechanics of Truth. Regular and extended research stays in Madrid are required.
