The fund invests in bold, new work across all art forms that tell Australian stories and strive for next level scale, ambition and impact. Applications are assessed in two stages, with Stage 1 closing 29 September 2026 and Stage 2 (invitation only) closing 2 February 2027.
Australian organisations working in the arts and culture sector that are legally constituted and have central management and control in Australia, including theatres, museums, galleries, community organisations, local governments, universities, and commercial entities that create or present artistic works.

Runs July 1, 2027 to July 31, 2030
Development stream: $150,000–$250,000 for creative development and testing of ambitious works. Delivery stream: $250,000–$1,500,000 for presentation of new or significantly redeveloped works. Funded activity takes place between July 2027 and July 2029 (Development) or July 2027 and July 2030 (Delivery).
