What it is

Annual poetry prize for a book-length manuscript. Manuscripts are judged anonymously and distributed by SUNY Press. Codhill Press will consider all finalists for publication. Previously published poems with proper acknowledgment are acceptable. Translations and previously self-published books are not eligible. Simultaneous submissions to other publishers are permitted, but Codhill Press must be notified immediately if the manuscript is accepted elsewhere.

What you get

Winner receives $1,000 plus 25 copies of the published book.

What you need to apply

Book-length manuscript
Manuscript must be 48 to 70 pages with no more than one poem per page, consecutively paginated, with acknowledgments and table of contents. First page should include manuscript title only, with no author name visible on the manuscript.
