Two-stage reference film funding programme for short films and non-feature children's films. Stage 1: Application for recognition of reference funding when the film has achieved success at qualifying festivals and/or won qualifying awards, with funding amount determined by points earned (minimum 15 points required, 40+ points multiplied by factor of 1.5). Stage 2: Approved funds must be claimed within two years for production of new short films, children's films, feature films, or up to 75 percent for company capital expansion.
Producers of short films (maximum 30 minutes) or children's films (less than 59 minutes) that have won awards or screened successfully at recognised festivals, with residence or business registration in Germany.
Open to artists in Germany.
