A free-to-enter competition for emerging musical acts in partnership with Glastonbury Festival, PRS for Music and PRS Foundation. The competition launches for one week at a time. A panel of 30 UK music writers compiles a longlist of 90 acts, which is then narrowed to a shortlist of eight by judges including Glastonbury organisers Michael and Emily Eavis. The winner and runners-up are decided at live finals in Pilton.
