International Short Performance Competition 2027

What it is

Teatri Riflessi Festival calls for live works no longer than 15 minutes exploring the theme of constellations as a living web of invisible bonds and interdependencies. Works will be performed at Zafferana Etnea in Sicily, Italy. Selected works compete in front of Italian and international theatre and dance professionals for prizes and potential touring and residency opportunities.

Who it is for

Artists from any country who create live contemporary dance, theatre, circus or multidisciplinary performance works.

Open to artists anywhere.

What you get

Selected works receive a performance fee of €500–€1,100 based on number of performers, partial travel support up to €250, monetary prizes of €300–€1,800, and potential touring and artist residency opportunities.

• Full video recording of complete short performance
• Annex A: Dramaturgy (complete script if available; for dance and physical theatre, short document detailing dramaturgical research and choreographic structure; for rehearsed readings, directorial notes describing costumes, lighting and set design)
