A staged reading of a new musical called Otherland, set in a fantasy realm where a young soldier serves the Spring Queen and ventures into the forest to destroy the Winter Witch and prevent winter from ever returning. The production seeks non-union performers for named roles (Callum, Ruby, Winter Witch, Spring Queen, Orin, Liora, Jeff, Birdie) and ensemble members. Rehearsals will be held primarily evenings and weekends from October 28 to November 17, with the reading on November 18. The staged reading will be recorded for non-public developmental purposes. All roles are open to performers of all ethnicities.
