Call for 2027 curatorial research fellowship

What it is

A two-phase curatorial research and production grant for exhibition curators. Phase 1 is a six-month research period with €5,000 support. The curator develops a proposal focusing on an exhibition project related to image or photography. Phase 2, subject to approval by Rencontres d'Arles artistic direction, is project production with €15,000 support. The curator retains rights to the work but assigns presentation and reproduction rights to Rencontres d'Arles in France and abroad.

What you get
