An African-based literary arts anthology celebrating the global African diaspora, featuring original works of poetry, short stories, essays, hybrid narratives, flash fiction, and visual artwork. The multi-genre collection will span 350-450 pages and include diverse voices and experimental work alongside traditionally informed writing. Themes encompass African culture and society, circum-Atlantic transpositions, and African diaspora experiences globally.
Writers and artists of all experience levels, with particular welcome for writers and artists of color, immigrants, disabled, queer/trans, femme, and low-income voices, submitting original literary work in genres including poetry, short stories, essays, hybrid narratives, flash fiction, and visual artwork that engages with African culture, the African diaspora, or circum-Atlantic themes.
Open to artists anywhere.
