Orchestral + Solo Percussion Academy 26/27 Mentorship Program

What it is

Advanced mentorship program led by composer and percussionist David Moliner focusing on contemporary orchestral thinking, rhythm as structural force, and expanded instrumental language. Participants develop two original large-scale works: one major orchestral composition engaging with symphonic forms and one advanced solo work for marimba and/or multi-percussion. The curriculum includes special investigation of Beethoven's symphonic thought translated into 21st century avant-garde composition.

• Statement of Concept outlining motivation, artistic relationship to Beethoven's symphonic language, and creative concepts for both proposed orchestral and solo percussion works, up to 600 words
• Short Biography, up to 300 words
• Artistic Portfolio consisting of a complete list of works alongside two scores of selected compositions in any instrumentation, 2 required
