A workshop led by artist Jack Thomson exploring the intersection between movement and photography. Participants will collaborate with professional ballet and contemporary dancers, examining perspectives on capturing movement, details in body and movement, dance photography as collaborative practice, collaborative language between visual arts and movement, physicality and desired imagery, and body and space/architecture. Participants must bring their own DSLR or mirrorless camera. The workshop takes place in studios in London across two possible dates: Sunday 25 October and/or Saturday 31 October 2026.
Photographers who want to develop their relationship with dance, and dancers with a vested interest in photography who wish to deepen their practice.
