A self-directed residency at Robbie's Hoose, a historic self-catering hideaway on the ocean in Birsay, Orkney's ancient capital. The house was once home to poet, painter and conchologist Robert Rendall and occupies the historic site of Orkney's Bishop's Palace. It is fully furnished with one master bedroom with en-suite and sleeps two people. The residency has no expectations of the residents, who may undertake their own self-directed projects.
Creative practitioners and writers, including researchers, may apply for a self-directed residency.
Open to artists anywhere.
