Virginia Commonwealth University's Department of Music seeks a part-time adjunct instructor to serve as an Opera Vocal Coach. The selected candidate will work closely with the Music Director to coach students for fully staged opera productions, attend all musical rehearsals, and may assist with staging and onstage rehearsals. A commitment to promoting the opera program and engaging with the community is preferred. Candidates should have a Master's degree or equivalent experience as a Vocal Coach or Collaborative Pianist, along with a strong background in operatic literature and languages. Experience in preparing opera performances at a professional or university level is essential.
