Supernova is a competition for young chamber music ensembles. Eight ensembles are selected for the semi-final on 16 December 2026 in IMEP in Namur based on submitted videos and information. Four ensembles advance to the final on 31 January 2027 in DE SINGEL in Brussels, where the jury crowns two as Supernova 2027 winners.
Young, promising chamber music ensembles based in Belgium with an independent perspective on classical music, including ensembles that blend or challenge genres, styles and musical traditions.
Open to artists in Belgium.

Selection as one of two Supernova winners, a Belgian concert tour, media attention, airplay on Klara and Musiq3 radio, and the chance to perform at the final on 31 January 2027 in DE SINGEL. One finalist also has the chance to win the Supernova Audience Prize of €1,000.
