What it is

Pride Photo 2027 invites photographers worldwide to submit work celebrating LGBTQIA+ experiences. The contest welcomes documentary photography, portraiture, collage, photographic intervention, and AI-assisted imagery (with declaration). Two categories are available: STORIES (project series of 3–15 images) and SINGLE IMAGES (up to 5 standalone works per project). Photographers may submit up to 2 projects per application, with multiple applications allowed. An independent international jury selects winners, whose work is exhibited publicly in Amsterdam before traveling nationally and internationally.

Photographers of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels worldwide who wish to share stories celebrating and exploring the beauty, strength, and diversity of LGBTQIA+ lives.

What you get

Selected photographers receive €500 per selected work included in the Pride Photo Exhibition 2027, international exhibition exposure from spring 2027 to spring 2028, and their work featured across Pride Photo's digital and print platforms.

  • Biography, up to 1500 words
  • Project images (3–15 images for STORIES category or up to 5 images per project for SINGLE IMAGES category)
  • Project title, year of creation, place of creation
  • Project description, up to 1500 words
  • Image title, year of creation, place of creation for each image
  • Image description in English, up to 1500 words
  • Declaration and clear description of any AI use in image making or editing (minimum 3000px on long side)
