Open call for speakers at a one-day conference exploring the future of archives and archiving. The event will feature talks addressing what makes an archive, who decides what archives contain, who creates archives, who archives are for, and who has access. The call welcomes real-life experiences and submissions that challenge or answer questions related to the future of archives, including topics such as artist and photographer legacies, memory and forgotten histories, ownership and authority, family archives, radical and non-traditional archives, grassroots archives, and digital preservation.
Anyone aged 18 or older interested in or already involved in creating, holding, exploring, and taking care of archives, especially those working outside traditional institutions.
Open to artists anywhere.
