Annual juried exhibition devoted to historic and handmade photographic processes. Accepted processes include albumen, cyanotype, Van Dyke brown, platinum/palladium, gum bichromate, bromoil, salt print, tintype, ziatype, daguerreotype, image transfers, liquid emulsion, anthotypes, photogravure, chemigrams, and handmade prints from digital negatives. Images must originate in an alternative process and must not be AI-generated. No subject matter limitation. Maximum image size 40 inches on longest side. Juror: Amy Arbus. Opening reception 3 December 2026.
Photographers aged 18 and over working in historic and handmade photographic processes, excluding current members of Soho Photo Gallery.
Open to artists anywhere.

Exhibition at Soho Photo Gallery's West 23rd Street space in Chelsea from 2 to 20 December 2026, with prize money of $300, $200 and $100 for selected work, plus honourable mentions and 70% of sales revenue (the gallery takes 30% commission).
