The 4th International Henryk Mikołaj Górecki Composers' Competition, organized by the Henryk Mikołaj Górecki Silesian Philharmonic in cooperation with the ZAiKS Authors' Association, aims to commemorate the patron of the Philharmonic, promote young composers, and expand the concert repertoire. Participants must compose a work for string orchestra with a maximum instrumentation of 5-4-3-3-1 and a duration of 5 to 10 minutes.
