Open Call for Ukrainian and Ukraine-based artists in Finland 2027

What it is

Residencies hosted across seven partner organisations in Finland for Ukrainian and Ukraine-based artists affected by war. Residencies offer furnished living and studio spaces at various locations including Suomenlinna island, the Turku Archipelago, Mäntyharju, Porvoo, Alajärvi, Värtsilä, and Vantaa. Family members may be welcome at some locations. An access budget is available for disabled artists.

Who it is for

Professional Ukrainian or Ukraine-based artists and arts practitioners from all disciplines who have been affected by the war in Ukraine.

Open to artists in Ukraine.

What you get

Free living and working space, one return trip to and from home, and a working grant of €1,200 per month for a residency of 1–3 months in Finland between January–July 2027.
