What it is

A three-month residency in Helsinki for Palestinian artists to focus on artistic research and engage with the local art scene. The residency does not require new work production or exhibition output, though artists may develop exhibition proposals for presentation at HIAP from 2029 onwards. Residents participate in welcome events, weekly coffees, city visits, and open studios.

Who it is for

Professional Palestinian contemporary artists working in visual and interdisciplinary practices who are currently based in Palestine or are of Palestinian descent.
