Mare Nostrum Elements' Emerging Choreographer Series is a free, intensive self-producing program for five NYC-based choreographers to create and premiere a new 8–12 minute stage work. The program includes rehearsal space, paid dancers, professional development, mentorship, a work-in-progress showing, and two fully produced performances at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center.
Choreographers who are at least 18 years old, reside in one of New York City's five boroughs, and are not enrolled in a full-time college or professional program during the series.
