SOLI Chamber Ensemble invites early-career composers to the Fellows Track of the SOLI Composer Lab, a winter residency where you compose a new 5–7 minute work for clarinet, violin, cello, and piano (with electronics allowed), receive faculty feedback, work with the ensemble to rehearse and premiere your piece, mentor a young composer, and receive a professional recording of your premiere.
Early-career composers of any age and background who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or hold a valid U.S. visa.
Open to artists in United States.

Runs January 8, 2027 to January 11, 2027
A four-day winter residency at Trinity University (January 8–11, 2027) including work with three faculty composers, rehearsal with musicians who will premiere your piece, mentorship of a high school composer, a premiere performance on January 11, 2027, and a professional master recording in late February. Accommodation arranged; $500 enrollment fee required and travel is your responsibility.
