A multidisciplinary artist immersive residency program in the heart of the Amazon rainforest in Alter do Chão, Brazil. The program fosters exploration, experimentation, connection and deep research by engaging with the rainforest's biodiversity, inhabitants and rhythms. Participants develop ideas, ground their practice and engage with the local community through artistic foraging and deep immersion. The program accepts approximately 10 participants and operates a rolling application process with multiple deadlines throughout the year.
Artists and creative practitioners from all disciplines at any stage of their career, including visual artists, photographers, filmmakers, curators, writers, poets, musicians, scientists, activists and researchers.
