What it is

We-Che Art Residency is an artist-run project located on 2 hectares in Trevelin, Chubut, Patagonia, Argentina, near the historic Welsh village and close to Los Alerces National Park. The residency offers a retreat for artists to create, rejuvenate, and connect with Patagonia's natural and cultural environment. Residencies last from 1 week to 2 months. The residency does not provide financial support but can provide letters of invitation for artists applying for grants in their home countries. English, Spanish, and French are spoken.

Artists and creators at any stage of career in any discipline, including writers, filmmakers, musicians, visual artists, and others, from anywhere in the world.
