Vermont Studio Center welcomes visual artists and writers for residencies in an inclusive, international community in the Green Mountains of Vermont. The center provides private studios equipped with furniture, lighting, and wifi; communal meal service focusing on local agriculture; access to the Schultz Sculpture Shop with woodworking, welding, and ceramic equipment; a Print Shop; and the Maverick Writing Studio. Residents participate in the Visiting Artist & Writer program, share work through Resident Presentations and Open Studios, and may contribute to the community through kitchen, grounds, administrative, or skill-share work.

A 2-, 3-, or 4-week residency with private lodging, private studio, three communal meals daily, access to shared equipment and facilities, and a competitive fellowship covering full or partial costs (approximately 35% receive full fellowships; partial fellowships require fees of $2,700 for 12 days, $3,825 for 19 days, or $4,950 for 26 days).
