The New World Symphony Conducting Fellowship is a one-year immersive program for emerging conductors. Fellows work closely with Artistic Director Stéphane Denève and internationally recognized visiting conductors, gaining substantial hands-on experience through concerts, rehearsals, and orchestral reading sessions. The fellowship combines podium experience, artistic mentorship, professional development, and community engagement opportunities within a dynamic community of emerging orchestral musicians.
An emerging conductor who has completed at least a bachelor's degree and is not currently enrolled in a degree program.
