Connect & Create - Live Performance and Music Grant 2027

What it is

Connect & Create is a sub-Saharan Africa component of the EU-funded Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture programme. This call supports two areas: professional mobility for international organisations and events such as festivals and professional gatherings; and circulation of performing arts and music productions, helping structure the live performance sector and open new distribution networks and international visibility for African artistic creations.

Who it is for

Organisations working in performing arts and music sectors based in sub-Saharan Africa or EU member states, including performing arts companies, music ensembles, artist collectives, production offices, cultural venues, festivals, and professional cultural events.

Open to artists in Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi and others.

What you get

€15,000 to €39,500 to support touring, international programming, and professional mobility in performing arts and music, covering up to 70% of project costs with required 30% co-financing.

• Bank account capable of receiving international transfers
• Demonstration of relevant experience in performing arts and/or music sectors
