La Guarimba is a short film festival and cultural organization in Calabria, southern Italy, with the aim of returning cinema to people and people to cinema. The 15th edition will take place in Amantea, Calabria. Around 170 films will be selected for screening and competition. The festival works with film and illustration using culture as a vehicle to promote participatory democracy, integration and accessibility.
Filmmakers of any nationality who have produced short films of any genre, including fiction, documentary, animation, experimental work, music videos, and children's content.
Open to artists anywhere.

Selected filmmakers receive accommodation and meals during the festival (August 7-12, 2027), and competition prizes including €800 for Best Fiction, Best Documentary and Best Animation, €300 for Best Music Video and La Grotta dei Piccoli Prize, plus trophies for multiple categories.
