What it is

The European Media Art Platform (EMAP) offers production residencies for emerging artists, artistic duos, collectives and other artistic collaborations working in digital art, new media, robotic art and bioart. The two-month residencies take place during 2027 at one of 15 partner institutions across Europe. Applicants must select their host institution at the time of application. The programme emphasises collaboration, with selected artists developing their work alongside an artist of their choice or a local artist. Results are presented professionally and may be included in EMAP partner exhibitions and public presentations.

Who it is for

Emerging artists, duos, collectives and other artistic collaborations working in digital art, new media, robotic art and bioart who are residents of or tax contributors in the EU or eligible non-EU countries.

Open to artists in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands and others.
