29th TiDF: Call for entries

What it is

Call for entries to the 29th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival, an Oscar-qualifying festival with four competition sections: Feature Length International Competition (films over 70 minutes), Newcomers International Competition for first or second-time directors (films over 50 minutes), Film Forward International Competition for experimental documentaries (films over 45 minutes), and Immersive: All around cinema International Competition for XR/AR/VR projects. All films must be completed within 12 months before the festival (24 months for immersive projects), must be a world, international or European premiere, and must not have been publicly released or screened in Greece.

Filmmakers who have completed documentary features, experimental documentaries, or immersive/XR projects within the specified timeframes.

Open to artists anywhere.
