The sixth national painting competition organized by the Telloglio Foundation for the Arts in memory of the important Thessaloniki painter Loukas Venetoulis. The competition invites artists to engage creatively with the theme Water Alpha & Omega, which explores the relationship between humans and nature, particularly through water as a physical, symbolic, spiritual, therapeutic, mythological and religious element. The theme reflects on climate change consequences and contemporary environmental challenges. Artists may draw inspiration from water's fluidity, reflections, melancholy, grandeur, and the ephemeral nature captured in works by artists such as Hokusai, Monet, Friedrich, Viola, Pascali, Kusama and Hockney.
Young artists in Greece to showcase their painting work.
