Transcinema is Peru's most important avant-garde film festival. It presents films that explore cinematic language and avoid thematic and formal clichés, with no duration limits, from around the world as exclusive premieres in Peru. Two competitive categories: International (for documentary, fiction, animation or avant-garde films from anywhere except Peru, produced since 2025, minimum 10 minutes) and Transandina (for films from Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Chile and Venezuela, produced since 2025, any duration).
Filmmakers and audiovisual creators from around the world with films produced since January 2025, or from Andean region countries (Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela).
