The 14th St. Petersburg International New Music Festival offers composition courses supervised by Alexander Khubeev. Up to 40 composers will be selected to work with faculty including Mark Andre, Luca Francesconi, Yuri Kasparov, Panayiotis Kokoras, Dmitri Kourliandski, Vladimir Rannev, Lucia Ronchetti, Elena Rykova, and Hannes Seidl. Participants receive individual online lessons with different tutors, access to ensemble workshops and readings, and attend master classes. Selected composers in groups A0-A4 have their new or existing compositions premiered and recorded at festival concerts. Groups B1-B2 participate in workshop reading sessions. Group C and free auditors access all educational events online.
Composers aged 18 and over from anywhere in the world.
