The Art Explora Foundation in collaboration with Cité internationale des arts welcomes approximately twenty resident artists and researchers from around the world each year. The programme offers artists and researchers the opportunity to develop research and creative work in the heart of Paris, in connection with the French artistic and professional scene. Two tracks available: Solo programme for individual artists (3 or 6 month residency) and Collective programme for artist collectives or artist with curator or researcher (3 month residency). Selection is based on the quality of the applicant's track record and project, with particular attention to project relevance regarding research areas (art and science, social, political and ecological issues), project integration in French context and contribution to the artist's research.
Artists and researchers of any nationality with at least 5 years of professional activity and international exhibition history, working in visual arts, performing arts, or digital arts.
Open to artists anywhere.
