Second Bassoon

What it is

A full-time permanent position playing second bassoon with the West Point Band's concert band, with opportunities to play first bassoon as needed, perform on a secondary instrument in the marching band, and participate in woodwind quintet and chamber ensembles across multiple musical genres. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or qualified residents, meet Army entry requirements, and commit to at least a four-year service contract including completion of Army Basic Training.
