Staged reading of 'Who's the Tzar?' by Katya Yurkovskaya, a new play about four girls and women who are magically body-swapped with elite male rappers during a Russian battle rap championship. Each actor plays both a female and a male character across different ages. No prior rap experience necessary. The reading takes place at 7 PM on November 7, 2026 at The Tank (Studio) in Manhattan, with rehearsals during the first week of November.
Female, non-binary, and trans actors aged 18-80, and stage managers.
Open to artists anywhere.
